Anyone who knows me will know that Del Riche’s work will really appeal to me and I love what she has put on her website about art not being about money, but the scope of mind, the potential of imagination.
I remember hearing years ago someone saying (or reading it somewhere – I wish I could remember where and who it was from!)
“When you make art for money, you no longer make art”.
Really not sure if thats true when you think of the many master pieces that have been created on commission. It was a hot subject while my husband was at university between the Graphic Design students (He’s a Graphic Designer) and the Fine Art students.
Del Riche grew up in the world of theater and is hugely influenced by film and music from a by gone age. Del Riche is an Artist and Filmaker.
